Kyoto II, Small Fixed Blade Knife with Reinforced Point

As much as Cold Steel® loves the massive cutting and piercing power of big, fixed blade knives, there is no denying that carrying one will often draw unwanted attention or comments. Conversely, small fixed blades like the Kyoto seem to go more often unnoticed owing to their size and innocuous appearance.

Available with traditional (tanto) and reinforced point (straight back) blade styles, the Kyoto knives offer astounding cutting and thrusting potential that belies their modest stature. The robustly stout blades have wide full tangs that run the full length of the handle. They are coupled with stainless steel guards and super high traction Kray-Ex™ handles that are stylized to mimic the traditional look of cord-wrapped Japanese sword handles.

The slim, comfortable sheath is versatile and will accept a bead chain lanyard or a Cold Steel® C-Clip, so it can be carried in a variety of ways.

8Cr13MoV Stainless Steel
Possessing very similar properties to AUS 8A, 8Cr13MoV is a reliable steel for working knives. This high carbon stainless steel has proven itself to be tough and corrosion-resistant in Cold Steel®'s own tests. Like AUS 8A, it boasts good edge holding and is easy to re-sharpen.

Ein absolut super Messer. Klein und handlich, dennoch groß genug um sicher in der Hand zu liegen. Die ist nicht zu dick aber auch nicht zu dünn. Sie ist perfekt ausgeschliffen und extrem scharf. Der Griff fest sich sicher an und lässt sich einfach reinigen. Mit der Kunststoffscheide und einer dem eigenen Geschmack entsprechendem Clip....sitz alles perfekt...sicher verstaut und schnell zugriffsbereit. Habe gleich ein zweites für meinen Sohn gekauft. Optimal für jeden der perfekte Messer mag.
