Available with JapaneseSan Mai® or with American CPM 3V high carbon steel blades, it features a broad blade that's been flat-ground to achieve theideal blade cross-section and edge geometry for hunting application. Carefully honed to razor-sharpness, its edge cutseffortlessly while its dropped point simplifies the chore of field dressing and skinning. The spine of the blade is 5 mm thick toallow for the necessary strength and stiffness to field-dress and skin the biggest animals.

The grip is specially designed to promote long use without fatigue. Made of the shock absorbent, highly tactile Kray-Ex™,and featuring a deeply checkered surface, it will offer a secure purchase no matter how wet or bloody your hands get. Plus,Kray-Ex™ has specially enduring advantages in that it will never rot, shrink, crack, splinter, or mildew, and is completelyimpervious to even the harshest weather – while still being comfortable to use for extended periods of time.

For safety, the Master Hunter comes in a thick Secure-Ex® sheath that will accommodate just about any size belt and allow youto carry it all day without fatigue.

CPM 3V Steel
American CPM 3V takes an extremely fine edge that is highly chip-resistant, and in recent years it has proved verypopular with custom knife makers. Though costly, this modern tool steel is astonishingly tough and exceptionally wear-resistant.It is a fine-grained powdered steel, with a very uniform microstructure giving it excellent impact resistance and fine edgeholding performance and making it perfectly suited for larger blades where extreme toughness is required.
