Tactical Katana Machete with Sheath

Cold Steel's Tactical Series of machetes are closely modeled after the hugely popular and record-breaking Cold Steel Warrior Series of Tantos, Wakizashis and Katanas.

Available in 3 sizes, each of these fun and distinctive machetes features a wide, curved Tanto point blade and a solid steel tsuba made from heat-treated 1055 high carbon steel with a baked on anti-rust coating. Their broad full tangs are injection over-molded with high impact polypropylene, making them incredibly durable and weather resistant.

Cold Steel spared no expense to re-create the look of a traditional cord wrapped handle, Fuchi and Kashira but used modern materials that will not shrink, warp, tarnish or rot and require very little maintenance to retain peak performance.

Sharpened in Cold Steel's Ventura HQ, each of these machetes comes complete with a Cor-Ex™ sheath for ease of carry and storage.

Guter Kauf, aber verbesserungsfähig.

Ich würde nur zwei Dinge ändern. Der Griff könnte handfreundlicher sein, und die falsche Nahtverzierung sollte entfernt werden. Die Klinge sollte die gleiche Länge wie ein echter Katana haben. Ansonsten ist es PERFEKT. Ich mag es sogar mehr als einen echten Katana, weil es so viel Missbrauch aushält und keine Politur oder Puderung wie das traditionelle Stück benötigt.

Reasonable for the Price

The handle is quite rough, which aligns with what many videos mention. The blade is extremely sharp, well-made, and can handle substantial abuse. The sheath is disappointing; the strap is too complicated and the draw is awkward, which is why I deducted a star. However, the sword itself is highly capable and versatile.

Decent machete, poor sheath design

The machete works well, although it isn't extremely sharp, which is typical for this type of tool. I'm unsure about the amount of steel in the handle, but cold steel is generally trustworthy. The reason for the 4-star rating is the left-handed sheath, which isn't practical for the majority of users.
