The Cold Steel® Canadian Belt Knife takes its inspiration from a old 1950's classic. It has all the features that made the original an award-winning international favorite, plus some modern improvements.
Cold Steel®'s contemporary version is made out of sub-zero quenched German 4116 stainless steel and hollow-ground to an incredibly sharp edge. It will glide through just about any material because its elliptical profile is very efficient at reducing cutting drag.
Unlike some wooden handles, the durable polypropylene handle is tough enough to endure hard knocks while remaining light and comfortable to use. It fits snugly in virtually any hand and is slightly offset in relation to the blade to keep one's fingers safely out of the way.
This super lightweight blade comes with a secure low-profile polymer sheath, making it a breeze to carry all day or on extended hunting or camping adventures.
German 4116 Stainless Steel
4116 is a fine-grained stainless steel from Germany often used in the pharmaceutical Industry and in high-end kitchen cutlery. Its carbon and chromium content is balanced for excellent corrosion resistance and strength. Capable of taking a very fine, sharp edge, it makes an excellent choice for outdoor hunting applications. Cold Steel®'s 4116 stainless steel is sub-zero cryo-quenched for markedly increased strength, hardness and durability and superior edge-holding potential.
